Placement Cell
The objective of the Placement Centre is,
- To provide job opportunities by bringing the companies for campus recruitment to all the eligible students of final year.
- To enhance current technical and practical knowledge of student
- To have strong Industry-Institute Interaction
Activities
1) Contacting the recruiting companies regularly for campus placement.
2 )Conducting Campus Recruitments
3 )Arranging Guest Lectures and Resource Persons from Industry to deliver current knowledge to trainees.
4 )Conducting Soft Skill Programmes to students by Industry Experts.
5)Arranging In Plant Training and impart practical knowledge on industry practices.
6)Conducting Seminars, workshops etc.
Facilities
1)Halls to conduct Pre-Placement Talks and other programmes.
2)Labs to conduct on line tests and class rooms to conduct other tests.
PROCEDURE FOR CAMPUS RECRUITMENT
1. Campus recruitment for final year trainees starts from June onwards every year. Recruitment after passing out of the campus will also be done depending on the availability of non placed trainees
2. Interested recruiters are requested to mail the following details to theprincipalititvpm@yahoo.com
a) Job Profile
b) Job Location
c) Training Period
d) CTC during & after Training
e) Designation before & after Training
f) Service agreement if any – No.of years & Bond amount if any
g) Trade required
h) Facilities Required for campus recruitment
i) Preferred dates to visit
NB: Placement with Paid Training by students and Consulting fee attached placements are not allowed
1) Based on the no.of interested trainees, company can fix the venue either at ITI or at their office. Resumes of the interested students can also be sent to the company for shortlisting at their end.
2) List of Selected trainees and offer letters shall be given to the Placement Officer at the end of the process. If there is any delay in announcement of results, students will be permitted to attend the next company
3) The recruiters are requested to give the feedback of the quality of the students at the end of the selection process and also after the training period. This will help us to improve continuously and offer better numbers than the previous year.Contact Person:
